21–25 Bruton Place, Mayfair, London
Bruton Place is a landmark commercial redevelopment project in the heart of London's exclusive Mayfair district. Valued at over £9.27 million, the scheme involved the transformation of three mews properties into one modern, high-spec office and retail space. The works included structural alterations, a new third-storey extension, façade retention, and premium internal finishes throughout.
This high-profile project demanded the very best in quality, craftsmanship, and coordination across all trades.
Our Role in the Project
We were contracted to deliver one of the key architectural features within the building: the feature staircase handrail system. This element was critical to the overall interior aesthetic and had to meet the highest standards in both finish and compliance.
Scope of Works Delivered
• Supply and installation of bespoke oak handrails to the feature staircase
• Oak handrails were stained and sealed in fire-resistant lacquer to meet building control and fire safety requirements
• Integration of LED strip lighting within the handrails for low-level lighting and a modern finish
• Precise coordination with structural and electrical trades to ensure seamless installation
• All wiring was concealed and handrails were installed flush with no visible fixings
Outcome
Our contribution added a refined, high-spec finish to a key circulation space within the building. The combination of natural oak, architectural lighting, and flawless detailing created a striking visual feature that reflects the premium quality of the overall development.
